ASRM-Aligned evaluations & counseling for every stage of third party reproduction

Third Party Reproduction & Fertility Consultations

Expert, compassionate care in Windermere and across FL, DE, ID, SC, UT, VT

More than just a requirement…

these conversations are designed to support you, not just check a box.

Evaluations and consultations are often a required part of the third party reproduction process, and are recommended by organizations such as the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation & Surrogacy (SEEDS).

But they are meant to be more than just a step to complete.

This is a space to slow down, ask thoughtful questions, and make sure you feel clear and prepared as you move forward. Whether you are a surrogate, egg donor, or intended parent, these conversations help ensure that expectations are aligned and that everyone involved feels ready for what comes next.

With specialized training in reproductive mental health, I provide evaluations and consultations that are both thorough and supportive. I know what to look for, what to ask, and how to guide conversations that can feel complex or unfamiliar.

My role is to help you move through this process with clarity, confidence, and the support you need at each stage.

How I Support You Through Third Party Reproduction:

:

  • If you’re considering third party reproduction, you may be holding a mix of hope, grief, and uncertainty while also trying to make complex, high-stakes decisions about what comes next. As part of this process, you may be required to complete a consultation as part of the process.

In this meeting, we create space to slow things down and think clearly about your path forward.

    Together, we can explore:

    • Understanding the emotional ups and downs that can come with this journey
    • Deciding whether to work independently or with an agency
    • Thinking through what your relationship with a gestational carrier might look like
    • Preparing for decisions around embryo transfer and the medical process
    • Making sense of the legal and ethical pieces involved
    • Navigating how and when to share your story with your child and others

Following our conversation, I’ll complete a written report with recommendations that can be shared with your fertility clinic, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

You don’t have to sort through all of this on your own. This is a space to ask questions, process what’s coming up, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • If you’re planning to move forward with a gestational carrier, a psychological evaluation is often part of the process—both to meet clinical requirements and to help ensure everyone feels prepared for what’s ahead.

Depending on how you’re moving forward, this step may look a little different. Some intended parents arrange the evaluation independently, while others work with an agency that coordinates it as part of their process.

In our work together, the goal isn’t just to “check a box.” This is a space to thoughtfully consider the emotional, relational, and practical aspects of becoming a gestational carrier. The evaluation process also follows guidelines set by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), helping ensure that all recommended areas are thoughtfully addressed.

The process typically includes some initial paperwork and a brief online assessment, followed by a conversation where we talk through expectations, readiness, and any questions that come up along the way. When it’s helpful, a partner or support person can also be part of that conversation.

Afterward, I’ll complete a written report with recommendations that can be shared with your fertility clinic so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • Choosing to become a donor is a significant decision—one that often brings up questions you may not have expected.

This evaluation is designed to create space for those conversations. Rather than focusing only on requirements, we’ll take time to explore what this role means to you, how you’re thinking about the process, and how it may impact you now and in the future.

If you’re working with a known or directed donor, this process can be arranged independently. If you’re going through a clinic or donor program, they may already coordinate this step as part of their screening process.

Our work together follows guidelines from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), while still allowing room for a thoughtful, individualized conversation.

We’ll start with some initial paperwork and a brief assessment, then meet to talk through your understanding of donation, your motivations, and anything that feels important to consider before moving forward. When appropriate, a partner may also be included in this process.

Following the evaluation, I’ll provide a report with recommendations that can be shared with your clinic so you can move forward with clarity.

  • When you’re building a family with the involvement of a donor or gestational carrier, there are multiple people, perspectives, and expectations to consider.

After individual sessions are complete, we come together for a joint conversation. This is a space to talk openly about what’s been coming up, align on expectations, and address any questions or concerns before moving forward.

We’ll focus on things like communication, boundaries, and how each person is thinking about their role in the process so everyone feels clear, comfortable, and on the same page.

These conversations don’t have to end here. Many families choose to continue with joint sessions during pregnancy or after delivery as new questions, decisions, or dynamics arise.

The goal is to support a strong, respectful foundation so this arrangement feels like the right fit for everyone involved.

  • If you’re navigating a third party reproduction journey independently, you’re often holding a lot at once. Without the built-in structure of an agency, you may be coordinating logistics, making complex decisions, and managing the emotional weight of the process on your own.

This package is designed to bring clarity, structure, and support to that experience.

Together, we’ll move through the key steps of your journey in a thoughtful and connected way. This typically includes an intended parent consultation, a psychological evaluation for your donor, and a joint session to bring everyone together and ensure alignment before moving forward.

Along the way, you’ll have space to ask questions, process decisions, and feel more confident in each step you’re taking.

This approach can be especially helpful if you’re looking for:

    • Clear guidance without working through an agency
    • Support coordinating the different pieces of the process
    • A more thoughtful and connected experience from start to finish
    • Space to navigate both the practical and emotional aspects of your journey

Rather than piecing together support as you go, this package offers a more cohesive path so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

there’s more beneath the surface.

Infertility Therapy: Support Beyond the Logistics

The path to building a family isn’t always straightforward. Alongside the decisions, timelines, and medical steps, there’s often a deep emotional experience that can be harder to put into words.

You may be navigating grief, uncertainty, loss of control, or the weight of decisions that don’t have clear answers.

In addition to consultation and evaluation services, our practice also offers infertility therapy as a space to process these experiences more deeply.

This work allows us to slow down and focus on what you’re carrying emotionally—whether you’re early in your journey, considering next steps, or already moving through third party reproduction.

Together, we can make space for the complexity of this experience so you don’t have to move through it alone.
